Sienna is somehow 8 1/2 months old now, I don't know how that's possible, it seems that time has gone by WAY too fast! We are soooo in love with this little cutie-patootie, it's crazy. She continues to make us laugh and smile all the time. She is such a happy baby and we are loving all of her new discoveries. She also got her new first tooth last week!! I have to admit (knock on wood), that she took it like a trooper. She was a little fussy, but not bad at all. We'll see how the other ones come in. The second bottom tooth looks like it might make it's debut pretty soon.
Sienna is eating solids a lot better these days! She opens her mouth and gets excited when she sees us making her food. She also feeds herself puffs and yogurt melts. It's amazing how quickly she figured out how to grasp the finger food in between her thumb and first finger and put it in her mouth. She amazes us with all she does!!
Sienna is still rolling all over, back and forth, but is not really that interested in crawling, which is fine by me. Then you have to be watching every single thing she does, so I'm ok with her rolling back and forth in one general area right now :).
Sienna also waves hi and bye, we go around the house and "wave" to pictures of family members and to Colby all the time.
Notice how her "8 month" sign is out of her reach? She is sooo interested in everything around her these days, she reaches and grabs everything.
I have to be so quick with my monthly picture now, otherwise, this is what happens!
My friend Heather watched Sienna for me for a while the other day and Sienna LOVED interacting with Aaron and watching him crawl. She also loved his soothie and wanted it for herself.

Sienna met my friend Heidi's twin boys Vincent and Landen. She was so good just sitting there with her arms around them! It was so cute.
